KPMG UK names Collins chairman

KPMG UK has appointed Simon Collins as UK
chairman and senior partner to succeed John Griffith-Jones from
October.

The firm’s new executive team also
includes  Jim Marsh as chief operating officer and head of
people; Tony Cates as head of audit; Jane McCormick as head of
tax; Richard Fleming as head of advisory; Bill Michael as head of
financial services; Iain Moffatt as head of markets, national; Joe
Gallagher  as head of markets, corporates, government and
private equity; Marianne Fallon as head of corporate affairs; and
David Matthews as head of quality and risk.
                                                                 

Presenting the new team, Collins said he is
glad to increase the representation of women amongst the senior
leadership. 

“I am committed to leading a diversity agenda
in the firm,” Collins said.
