KPMG Canada has acquired Alberta-based Sumera
Management Consulting (Sumera).
Sumera provides strategy and planning,
programme development, systems review, and evaluation and
performance measurement services across the public, healthcare, and
social services sectors.
Sumera’s senior management and staff will be
integrated into KPMG’s advisory practice in Alberta.

Jeff Smith said the acquisition increases the firm’s capabilities,
“giving KPMG an edge as the top tier advisory firm, particularly in
the high-growth area of healthcare”.
