David Vallery has been appointed director of
KPMG’s remediation practice, which works with financial services
clients.

Vallery was previously the Managing Director
of Bank of Scotland’s Portfolio Management Services.

“In this environment, where the regulator has
made it clear that the issue of consumer protection is high up
their agenda, it is important that firms ensure they have sound
remediation processes and procedures in place. In addition,
prevention is generally better than a cure when it comes to
remediation.” Vallery said.
