KPMG UK has appointed Hugh Kelly as a director in its regulatory
accounting advisory team.
Kelly previously worked as head of regulatory and competition
finance at RGL Finance, which advises corporate, legal and public
sector clients including the European Commission.
Kelly originally trained at KPMG and then worked an adviser for
banks such as Fuji Bank and Moscow Narodny Bank.
Kelly also worked for the British communications regulator OFCOM
KPMG head of accounting advisory services Andrew Milner said Kelly
has a solid finance background and thorough knowledge of regulation
and competition issues.
“His experience will give our clients a real edge in these
important aspects of business, which are likely to become more
prominent in the current economic climate,” Milner said.
