The third largest accounting association, IGAF
Polaris, has rebranded to PrimeGlobal

The new name, identity and website are
intended to better reflect the association’s position in the
market.

“The PrimeGlobal name and image clearly
express how we are viewed as an association both by our membership
and by the clients that they serve,” PrimeGlobal chief executive
Kevin Mead said.

Member firms of the association hope the new
identity will enable them to attain a stronger position in the
market.

“Through our PrimeGlobal membership we’re in a
prime position to take advantage of opportunities. Doors have been
opened and we’re competing against the Big Four more than ever.
It’s all part of our international growth plan,” said Tim Potter,
the managing partner of UK member firm Hurst.

PrimeGlobal is comprised of more than 350
firms with combined annual revenue of more than $2bn. PrimeGlobal
employs about 2,200 partners and 17,000 employees at 800 offices in
90 countries.
