IAPA has revamped its branding with the launch of a new website and video channel, keeping the name and logo established more than three decades ago but modernising its image to attract new members and strengthen links with existing ones.
IAPA has ranked ninth association worldwide by total revenues with US$1093.4m recorded in FY15 according to International Accounting Bulletin’s latest World Survey, marking a significant gap between itself and the tenth firm – Morison International – whose revenues hit US$623.6m over the same period.
Speaking to International Accounting Bulletin, IAPA’s CEO Stephen Hamlet has suggested that, after being in the job six months, refreshing the association current brand through digital platforms will better serve its international community.
The new moto is: IAPA: creating the fabric of a global society.
Presently the association has 200 member firms across 69 countries. Its new online tools, namely an updated website and "corporate" video platform, should increase the visibility of firms that have been part of IAPA for a long time.
"The main messages promoted throughout the site includes forward-thinking, multicultural with local knowledge, globally connected, incorporating much energy and passion within a group that was established many years ago yet continues to develop and advance", Hamlet writes in a statement.
Elsewhere, on the new online YouTube platform, IAPA’s CEO says firms that want to join IAPA can be assured that its global reach and access to quality means they don’t need to be part of a bigger firm, such as a Big Four firm.
"Importantly, this provides confidence that our members can retain clients as they look to pursue international growth and expand, by offering them the ability to refer to resources across the world", says Hamlet in the new IAPA corporate video.
"[our] global reach allows firms that join IAPA the ability serve their existing client base, as they look to expand internationally, by having access to similarly minded professional firms all around the world", Hamlet concluded.
