HLB International admits UK firm

UK top 50 firm Hazlewoods has become the second firm to join HLB International in a month.

The firm provides business advisory, accountancy, financial planning and tax services in the South West of the country.

Hazlewoods admission follows that of Menzies, a top 25 firm with seven offices in England’s South East.

HLB International now has coverage across the south of England as it attempts to build nationwide coverage, following the recent demise of Vantis.

“We are aiming to continue this momentum and develop a full UK federation, and are in active discussions with high-quality regional firms around the UK. This is a significant time in our UK development and we are really excited about the opportunities this presents,” HLB International chief operating officer James Frost said.

“Hazlewoods is an excellent regional firm and has demonstrated significant growth over the past five years. It is extremely active nationally and internationally and we are confident about the valuable contribution their appointment will make to the HLB network.”

Jon Cartwright, managing partner of Hazlewoods, said the decision to join HLB International was motivated by plans to extend its international offering to clients.

Hazlewoods was formerly a member of Praxity.
