HLB International has appointed Contexpert
Consulting as the network’s member in Romania.
HLB International said Contexpert Consulting
is the fifth largest firm in the capital Bucharest.
Contexpert Consulting specialises in
accounting, audit, tax and payroll services. The firm has about 40
staff and mainly serves international clients.
HLB International chief executive Rob Tautges
said Contexpert Consulting will strengthen HLB International’s
position in Eastern Europe.
“Romania incurred significant growth in GDP
just prior to the worldwide economic crisis and we expect it will
continue that growth as more international companies select Romania
for expansion opportunities,” Tautges said.
Contexpert Consulting managing partner Sorin
Istrate said that being with HLB international will enable the firm
to “learn and implement best practices through a wide range of
resources including technical support in order to ensure compliance
with national and international statutory requirements”.
