Grant Thornton US appoints new partners

Grant Thornton US has appointed Rick Gebert to
managing partner of the southeast region, Wayne Kaplan as the
Philadelphia office managing partner and Michael Bennett as the
Houston office managing partner.

Geber is the current Philadelphia office
managing partner and will oversee office operations in Atlanta,
Charlotte, Raleigh, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, McLean
and Baltimore.

Kaplan, who will succeed Geber as Philadelphia
office managing partner, has been with Grant Thornton since 1995
and has lead the Philadelphia office audit practice for the past
nine years.

Bennett, who will become office managing
partner in Houston, has spent the last six years with Grant
Thornton. Prior to joining Grant Thornton Bennett spent 25 years at
Andersen.

All appointments will come into effect from1
August.
