Grant Thornton US has expanded its presence in
New England with the acquisition of assets of CCR, a top 100
accounting firm that provides audit, tax and economic and business
advisory services.
About 140 professionals will join Grant
Thornton, expanding the firm’s resources to support insurance
organisations, government and municipal agencies and private wealth
services.
“Acquiring the practices of a large,
full-service firm like CCR better enables us to serve clients
throughout New England, broadens and deepens our talent base, and
strengthens our foundation for growth,” Grant Thornton chief
executive Stephen Chipman said.
