Grant Thornton International has appointed KAP
Handyaani & Sigiro as its new member firm in Indonesia.
KAP Handyaani & Sigiro is to replace
former Grant Thornton member Hendrawinata, who left the network as
a result of a split within the firm.
KAP Handyaani & Sigiro will become an
effective member of Grant Thornton in the first week of June.
“The global leadership board has identified
Indonesia as a key strategic market and it is critical that our
member firm there is as visionary about its future as we are,”
Grant Thornton International chief executive officer Ed Nusbaum
said.
KAP Handyaani & Sigiro will be branded as
Grant Thornton, subject to local regulatory approval.
