Warth&Klein has officially become Grant
Thornton International’s exclusive member firm in Germany,
effective from 1 July.
As previously reported by International
Accounting Bulletin Grant Thornton International announced
last September it was moving from a federation of firms structure
to single firm coverage.
Warth&Klein has been part of Grant
Thornton International for ten years. It has 88 partners and 693
staff working in 11 offices across Germany.
The firm has also strengthened its presence by
merging with the Munich office of Susat & Partners, which adds
a further six partners and 60 staff to its overall headcount.
“Germany is a key market in the global economy
and immensely important to us. Together with the excellent Warth
& Klein Grant Thornton team we will continue to strengthen our
market presence in Germany,” Grant Thornton International chief
executive Ed Nusbaum said.
