Grant Thornton International has appointed its
first member firm in Senegal.
Grant Thornton International said CICE Senegal
is the third largest firm in the country, following Ernst &
Young and KPMG, reporting $2.5m in revenues for the past
fiscal.
CICE Senegal has 50 staff members, is based in
the capital Dakar and specialises in audit, accounting, tax and
advisory services.
“Our presence in Africa continues to
strengthen and the addition of our first member firm in Senegal is
another great step towards our ambition,” Grant Thornton
International chief executive Ed Nusbaum said.
CICE Senegal managing partner Mansour Gaye
said that operating as Grant Thornton international, “puts us in a
unique position to provide distinctive client service and
challenging careers to ambitious professionals, both of which will
greatly advance our capabilities in the region”.
