Grant Thornton International has added its
first member firm in Belarus. The firm has two partners, 40 staff
and will operate as Grant Thornton Silar.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Silar was a
EuraAudit International member firm.
Grant Thornton International chief executive
Ed Nusbaum said the firm has a strong reputation in Belarus and an
ambition to grow and develop their business.
“This strengthens our already strong
capability in this area of Eastern Europe alongside Armenia,
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and the Ukraine,” he said.
The latest addition is one of several that the
network has made at the start of this year, including new members
in Kenya and China.
