Grant Thornton International has expanded
in Latin America adding its first member firm in El
Salvador.
Pérez Mejía, Navas has three partners and 55
staff and according to the network, ranks sixth in the local
market.
It audits a number of multinational clients in
El Salvador providing external audit services and associated fiscal
audits, as well as tax consulting, due diligence and tax litigation
support services.
Grant Thornton International chief executive
Ed Nusbaum said the addition of Pérez Mejía, Navas is “another
important step towards developing our network in the Latin America
region”.
“We believe that working with [the firm] will
benefit not only [them] but also the other member firms in the
region and we welcome them to the global organisation,” Nusbaum
added.
In May, Grant Thornton also added a firm in
Ecuador.
