Ernst & Young (E&Y) has opened a new
office in Kazan, Tatarstan, to help promote activity in the local
market.
Tatarstan has a great potential demonstrating
strong economic growth and has been attracting keen interest from
foreign investors, according to the firm.
E&Y Kazan office head Airat Kaveev said
the office will initially focus on assurance and advisory services
but E&Y plans to add further service lines in the future.

Ivlev said Tatarstan is one of the most advanced and innovative
regions in Russia “For many years, we have cooperated with the
regional government and companies. The office will help promote our
practice in Tatarstan”.
The Big Four firm will work with major
regional enterprises including major companies in petrochemicals,
machine building and consumer goods across the region.
