Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has appointed Nancy Muhoya as EY Kenya managing partner and East Africa region leader. She will replace Gitahi Gachahi who retires in 2020. Muhoya is the first woman to become a cluster leader in EY Africa. She was previously a partner and leader of assurance services in EY East Africa and has been with EY for 16 years.

In 2016, she was named among Business Daily’s Top 40 Under 40 Women in Kenya. Muhoya has a degree in commerce (accounting option) and is a qualified CPA (Kenya).
