Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has appointed Phillip Mazzie as Managing Partner of its San Francisco office. Mazzie will be responsible for leading an office of nearly 1,700 people.
Mazzie has held a number of strategic leadership positions at EY, most recently as West Region Transaction Advisory Services Leader and West Leader of Operational Transaction Services. During his tenure at EY, he has worked on complex transactions ranging in size from $1 million to $60 billion.
Mazzie succeeds Lee Dutra, who led the San Francisco office for nearly a decade. Dutra will now focus on working with Mazzie and senior partners on a variety of strategic initiatives and continue serving market-leading global clients in the consumer products, retail, business services and manufacturing industries.
