Ernst & Young (E&Y) has opened an
Africa Business Centre (ABC) to enhance its geographical reach and
links between areas of expertise in Africa.

The ABC is a network of professionals across
Africa and in investor markets such as China, India, the Middle
East, the UK, Europe and the US.

A key part of the network will be to
co-ordinate the firm’s resources across Africa through a single
point of contact.

E&Y said this business model has proven to
be extremely successful in the past and has become a key strategic
driver with clients being assured of quality deliveries no matter
where the office is based.

E&Y currently has a presence in 26 African
countries.

The African integration follows on from Ernst
& Young’s previous integration of 87 countries into one area
from across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) in
2008.
