ECOVIS International has joined the Forum of Firms, an independent association of international networks of firms that perform transnational audits.
By joining the Forum of Firms, it confirms ECOVIS as having policies and methodologies with respect to transnational audits that are:
- based, to the extent practicable, on International Standards on Auditing;
- conform to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants’ International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants and national codes of ethics; and
- maintain appropriate quality control standards in accordance with International Standards on Quality Control in addition to relevant national standards.
Forum members also confirm that they conduct, to the extent not prohibited by national regulation, regular globally coordinated internal quality assurance reviews.
ECOVIS International Management Board member Carmen Vasile said: “Being part of the Forum of Firms is a further testament of our commitment to audit quality.”
To join the Forum of Firms ECOVIS International followed the Forum’s membership process demonstrating commitment to the Forum’s membership obligations that support of audit quality.
