US firms Dixon Hughes and Goodman &
Company have merged to form Dixon Hughes Goodman.
According to the firm as a result of the
merger Dixon Hughes Goodman will become the largest certified
public accounting firm based in the southern US and the 13th
largest in the country.
The merger will expand Dixon Hughes Goodman‘s
scale of operations within the US enabling them operate in all 50
states.
In addition to its accounting, auditing and
tax services Dixon Hughes Goodman will offer consultation, planning
and advisory services.
“This combination will create a larger
platform in which we can expand our geographical reach throughout
the mid-Atlantic,” Dixon Hughes chairman Charles Edgar Sams.
