DFK International has reported a record
combined fee income of $1.05bn for the year ended September 2009,
up 10% in the past year.

After steady fee income rises for the past 10
years, DFK is now one of the top 10 international accounting
associations. It ranked as the eighth largest association of
independent firms in the most recent International Accounting
Bulletin world survey.

DFK International has a total of 216 member
firms with 9,957 staff, of which 1,222 are partners.

DFK International has also appointed Martin
Sharp as its new executive director.

Sharp joins the firm from a career in the UK
Royal Air Force as an air commodore.
