JP Magson, a member of global accounting association DFK International, is one of the few firms to gain the top grade from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU)
The firm was established in 2007 and its team of 16 specialise in audit, accounting, tax and consulting services from its offices in Kampala.
Managing partner CPA Musabe James Magson said, “We are delighted to have gained the highest grade in audit quality from the ICPAU particularly as it puts us among the small percentage of firms to do so. This grade tends to be the ‘Big Six’ accountancy firms’ territory.
“We are sure that this achievement will put us in a more competitive position in winning new business and will also demonstrate to current and prospective clients that a small firm can perform to or even pass the standards of the ‘Big Six’ audit firms of the world, and at a lesser financial cost.”
“As a member of DFK International, we share a commitment to quality of service across all areas and this recognition of our highest professional standards in audit quality will reinforce our credentials in referring clients to us from around the world.”
Martin Sharp, executive director of DFK International said, “We congratulate JP Magson on gaining this highest grade in audit quality from their Institute. It is a very impressive achievement.”
