“We developed a new strategic plan last
year and one of the planks of the strategic plan was recognition
that the development of the association is best done through
national groups,” DFK International executive director Kevin Arnold
told the International Accounting
Bulletin
.

“Satisfyingly, the majority of new members
acquired throughout the year have been additions to budding
national groups.”

In the year to July 2009, DFK International
added 12 firms. Arnold said the association is still seeking new
members in the former Soviet states and the Baltic region.
