Deloitte Australia will appoint six new
partners in its Perth office next month.

Darren Hall has been nominated for audit and
advisory and specialises in the energy and resources industry.

Jamie Hamilton will deal with consulting and
is co-author of a number of studies on the Western Australia energy
sector.

Paul O’Brien has been appointed for risk
services and is an account director in Deloitte’s risk services
practice.

David Ocello and Jonathan Schneider will be
partners in the firm’s corporate and international tax
practice.

Ron van Beek will lead research and
development tax services. He has 30 years of experience.

In Perth, Deloitte has increased its
partnership by more than 40% in the past year. Deloitte’s national
headcount rises to 512 partners and more than 5,500 staff.

“It is an investment that clearly demonstrates
our confidence in the Australian economy and our own 2015 strategy
to grow our firm,” Deloitte chief executive Giam Swiegers said.
