Deloitte will open a new office in Iraq as
part of plans to strengthen its Middle East presence.

The office in Bagdad is expected to open in
the first quarter of 2011.

It is believed the company hopes to take
advantage of the growing number of clients across the oil and gas
exploration market, in addition to seizing opportunities to serve
local clients.

PwC and Ernst & Young already have offices
in the country.

Deloitte is yet to release further
details.
