Deloitte is set to add to its cloud offerings, with Microsoft Azure integration consultancy Mexia set to join.
Mexia offers Microsoft integration consulting, cloud, infrastructure and managed service solutions. It was established in 2008 by CEO Dean Robertson. It has over 50 staff across both offices in Melbourne and Brisbane.
The team will join Deloitte Consulting’s Technology Advisory Platform Engineering practice, with Robertson and current COO Mathew Coleman to become Deloitte Consulting partners.
Deloitte’s CEO Richard Deutsch said: “We are about enabling our clients to successfully execute strategy, innovate, and meeting the needs of their customers and stakeholders.”
Mexia’s CEO Dean Robertson added: “Helping clients across multiple sectors to realise the value of cloud-based technology transformation is our bread and butter. Just like Deloitte, we can be part of every stage of our clients’ cloud development and design lifecycle.”
Deloitte also added another cloud service business which was Brisbane based CloudTrek which focuses on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
CloudTrek provides services including advisory, architecture, build and migration to support cloud adoption and core technology transformation.
Deutsch commented: “We continue to see significant client demand for technology services built on deep specialisation, and this transaction builds on other technology additions we have made in recent years, as well as Deloitte’s formal collaboration with AWS that includes a global team of more than 2500 AWS cloud practitioners.”
