Deloitte US has acquired all the assets of Intrasphere
Technologies, a global drug safety and regulatory consulting
business. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
Intrasphere is based in Jersey City and has
its European headquarters in London. Intrasphere, has 13 staff in
the UK, 90-100 members in the US and provides professional services
to help life sciences companies improve product safety, signal
intelligence, pharmacovigilance and regulator information
capabilities.
The company’s activities will continue to be
lead out of the US via Deloitte, with the London based team being
absorbed into the consulting practice of Deloitte UK.
“The deal will enhance Deloitte’s market
propositions in commercial strategy, R&D transformation,
business analytics, regulatory compliance, quality and risk
management, and post-merger integration services across the
pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and healthcare sectors,”
Europe Middle East and Africa healthcare and life sciences leader
Simon Hammett said.
