Crowe Horwath International has formed a
global consulting firm to provide governance, risk and compliance
services to multinational companies.

The practice responds to a growing client
demand for consistent cross-border consulting services.

Crowe Horwath Global Risk Consulting (CHGRC)
will be lead by US-based Crowe Horwath International partner Larry
Rieger, who has been appointed chief executive of CHGRC.

CHGRC will initially have offices in the US,
UK, China and Japan.

Rieger explained CHGRC was created because
clients want to deal with one global firm rather than several
network firms in different countries.

“Each market that we enter will be serviced by
the single global firm through a standard global service approach,
with oversight established by CHGRC’s CEO and monitored by the
board of directors,” Reinger said.

CHGRC plans to expand in Europe and Asian as
the market appetite grows.
