CPA Australia remains the only professional
accountancy body to issue a sustainability report that has passed a
Global Reporting Initiative check, the organisation has
reported.
CPA Australia’s Sustainability Report 2009 is
the second annual sustainability report it has produced.
The report includes:
- Case studies of feedback sought after the
first report; - A description of CPA Australia’s CSR
strategy, which is based on three pillars: the profession, the
organisation and the community; and, - An explanation of the influence of
environmental, social and governance business drivers on CPA
Australia’s activities.
The report was lunched at the Global
Conference on Sustainability and Transparency in Amsterdam last
week.
