BKD has acquired Texas firm Parrish, Moody & Fikes (PMF).
PMF has 50 staff, including partner Michael Oatman. The firm specialises in assisting health care providers and serves more than 80 hospitals, according to the firm.
Dallas managing partner Larry King and Dallas assistant managing partner Tom Watson will lead the Waco office, which will be affiliated with BKD’s Dallas practice.
“The merger of BKD and PMF is a game changer for Texas health care,” Watson said.
“Our Texas offices now serve nearly 25 percent of Texas hospitals. PMF’s experienced professionals are a welcome addition to our growing Texas health care practice,” Watson added.
According to International Accounting Bulletin data, BKD is the tenth largest firm in the US with annual fee income of $404m.
