BDO plans to open a second office in Liverpool, UK, in October – barely a year after expanding its existing operations in the city. The firm now has 250 employees in Liverpool but expects to create a further 150 jobs there in its planned second office.

Ed Dwan, partner at BDO in the North West of England said: “The growth of the team in Liverpool is reflective of the successful year we’ve had as a firm. We announced a merger with Moore Stephens creating a larger and stronger business and we’ve seen strong organic growth in the region.

“We’re committed to Liverpool because of the quality of talent and businesses based here.”
