Baker Tilly UK has merged with Newcastle based
accountancy and advisory firm Charlton Williamson.
Effective from 3 October, Baker Tilly’s
Newcastle office will incorporate all of Charlton Williamson’s 20
staff, bringing its headcount to seven partners and 60 professional
and support staff.
The firm’s founding partner David Charlton and
joint owner Stuart McKinnon will retain their role as partners in
Baker Tilly following the merger.
“The merger with Charlton Williamson will
enable us to continue our growth strategy throughout the north,”
Baker Tilly’s northern regional managing partner Kevin O’Connor
said.
