Baker Tilly US member firm BlumShapiro has
merged with accounting, tax and advisory firm Needel, Welch &
Stone (NWS) based in Connecticut.

Baker Tilly said the merger will allow the
firms to expand, with BlumShapiro gaining entry into the
Massachusetts market.

NWS specialises in audit, accounting, tax and
business advisory services.

NWS has three offices in Connecticut.
