A&M has also strengthened its European Financial Services Group (EFSG) with the appointment of Nils Melngailis as managing director.

Melngailis has 18 years of experience in complex operational and balance sheet restructuring, creditor relations, strategy implementation, transaction management and performance improvement.

Previously, Melngailis served as chief executive and chairman at Parex Bank, the largest privately-held bank in the Baltic region.

Melngailis was also a former PwC Baltics chairman and a senior executive at IBM Services group.

A&M has also appointed senior directors Agnès Hugot and José de Ochoa and senior associates Heiko Logisch and Ardeshir Mistri to the EFSG.
