Hal Hirsch has been appointed Alvarez &
Marsal (A&M) managing director and global asset risk services
practice head.
The practice assists sovereigns, foundations
and corporations in tracing, quantifying and recovering investments
and donations in situations including sovereign investments,
international military assistance, humanitarian and disaster
relief, and fraud.
A&M said Hirsch brings 30 years asset
investigation recovery and strategic counselling experience to the
firm and over the course of his career Hirsch has produced more
than $1bn in cash recoveries on behalf of clients.

invaluable as we continue to position our services at the forefront
of global asset advisers and managers capable of comprehending and
remediating the world’s most complex and sensitive transactions,”
A&M co-chief executive Bryan Marshal said.
