Adviser Rankings Ltd’s summary of its Q2 2020 AIM 100 rankings for Auditors are as follows:
- BDO moves up to 2nd= in the FTSE AIM 100 rankings as Deloitte and KPMG client numbers recede
- PwC added 4 new AIM 100 clients to extend their lead from 8 to 12 clients
- Grant Thornton moved up the AIM UK 50 top-tier ranking to outright 6th place and also up into 6th place by client market-cap
- BDO are now in 1st place in 6 of the 7 FTSE sector client rankings, having added pole position in the Industrials rankings and the Technology rankings this quarter too

The big news this quarter relates to Saffery Champness. They have added as many net new clients than all the other 25 top Auditors put together. They added 3 new AIM clients (AFH Financial Group PLC, Conygar Investment Company PLC and Holders Technology PLC) and this added 50% to their total client count.
The other main event has been the collapse in the client market-cap values for all Auditors following the turmoil in the financial markets
