UHY Hacker Young has recently received national platinum status with cloud accounting provider Xero, as part of its ongoing commitment to assisting clients using cloud-based technology.

Rebecca will continue to drive momentum of cloud accounting across the group and has experienced first-hand the huge benefits that the national network provides. The cloud accounting team meets regularly, both face to face and virtually, enabling national sharing of information.

Rebecca joined UHY Hacker Young in 2018 and is based at UHY’s Nottingham office. Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca trained and worked at two other mid-tier firms.

Rebecca has specialised in cloud accounting throughout her career, working with owner managed businesses across a wide range of sectors to implement cloud accounting and improve business efficiency and performance.

UHY Hacker Young explains that during the Covid-19 lockdown, many more businesses have been switching to cloud accounting due to social distancing and remote working. Rebecca has assisted numerous clients to select and implement cloud accounting systems tailored to their specific needs and aims.

Colin Wright, Chairman of the UHY Hacker Young Group, says: “Rebecca has worked tirelessly to grow her cloud accounting expertise since joining UHY Hacker Young and she is now best-placed to lead the team.”

“Businesses are switching to cloud accounting at an ever-quickening pace and coronavirus has accelerated the trend. Rebecca has helped many of our clients make that transition seamlessly.”

“As well as implementing cloud accounting systems, Rebecca has the knowledge and experience to help clients use data to make key decisions for their future growth.”

“We get really good feedback from our clients on cloud accounting and with the appointment of Rebecca to this role we will continue to focus on developing this area of our offering.”
