The firms are Ashwin Brothers in Kenya, Matrix Oman in Oman, Kasegenya & Co. in Tanzania and JKLC in Nigeria.

Ashwin Brothers is based in the Westland suburb of Nairobi. It has five partners and some 60 personnel. The firm offers a full range of services via a group structure: Ashwin Brothers offers statutory, internal and forensic audits; Alexander McDonald & Scott deals with tax and business consulting services; and Alexander Consultants Ltd is the accounting services arm of the group.

Matrix Oman is a licensed audit and consulting company, founded in 2009, and located in the capital city, Muscat.

The co-founder, managing director, Balkrishn Kamath, is a chartered accountant and acts as the audit and business advisory partner. The second co-founder, national director, Sulaiman Al-Rahbi, is an accounting graduate from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He has a local accounting licence and deals with Government & Omani clients matters.

A four partner firm Kasegenya & Co. is in Arusha, Tanzania’s third city, and has an office in the largest city, Dar es Salaam.

A four partner firm, Kasegenya & Co. serves clients in sectors such as tourism, agriculture, oil, construction, manufacturing, health and services, and includes institutions/foundations and NGOs/charities.

JKLC is a newly established four partner firm, and the result of a merger of three existing independent practices – Rilcost Consultants, Adeleke Adedoyin & Co. and Korede Odulaja & Co. The partnership includes one other partner who joined from a Big Four firm.

Based in Lagos, the firm has around 30 personnel in total and offers a full range of business management, financial advisory, audit, taxation and accounting services.
