Nine firms joined in the EMEA region, also bringing IAPA representation to Switzerland and Poland.
Expansion in Africa through representation in Benin and Cote d’Ivorie gives IAPA 11 firms in 10 countries across the region. IAPA plans to cover all of Africa within two years.
In Latin America there was 98% growth in 2018 and the association now has representation in Peru.
In Asia Pacific, the addition of two members in Pakistan and India brings 12 new offices in 12 cities to the association.
IAPA also added a new office in Dallas, Texas, which is a branch of an Asia Pacific regional firm.
IAPA CEO Ozgur Demirdoven said: “IAPA is rapidly evolving. Over the last few months we have increased our service offerings and now have an amazing global resource of tax, audit, business advisory, and legal professionals – as I call it, a ‘360 Degrees of Service Line’”.
IAPA also added a legal firm in Italy.
