New member firm in Cameroon joins the UHY network

We welcome, BBI Advisory & Audit, our new member firm in Cameroon, to the global accountancy network UHY, extending our coverage within the EMEA region.

BBI Advisory & Audit based in Douala with further offices in the capital Yaoundé and in Limbé, provide a full range of services including audit and assurance, business advisory and accounting, corporate finance and corporate tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

UHY Advisors returns to Connecticut Market with acquisition of Business valuation and tax planning firms

UHY Advisors and UHY LLP (“UHY”) today announced that they will add to their portfolio in the Northeast with the acquisition of the professional services firm Pratesi, Salemi & Company LLC and the valuation firm Brentmore Valuation Advisors, located in West Hartford, Connecticut. Both firms will operate under the UHY banner effective November 4, 2016.

The acquisitions mark a return to Connecticut for one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing accounting firms, which last maintained a practice in Hartford in 2010. The new practice will enhance and complement UHY’s current service offerings of tax planning and consulting services, and business valuation.

“We are pleased to welcome the skilled teams at Pratesi, Salemi & Company and Brentmore Valuation Advisors to the UHY network as we re-enter the Connecticut market. Their addition is an opportunity for us to take advantage of the organic growth opportunities available to us in the Northeast while bringing UHY’s signature brand of service to businesses and organizations in the Greater Hartford area,” said Anthony P. All 10 associates of Pratesi, Salemi & Company LLC and Brentmore Valuation Advisors are expected to continue in their roles. The firm’s office will remain at 18 North Main Street in West Hartford.

We welcome, Ahmed Hassan Naeem Chartered Accountants, our new member firm in Afghanistan, to the global accountancy network UHY, extending our coverage within the Asia-Pacific region.

Ahmed Hassan Naeem Chartered Accountants, with a team of 33 staff including 4 partners, is based the capital city of Kabul and was established with the support of the UHY’s member firm in Pakistan, UHY Hassan Naeem & Co. The partners bring extensive experience in audit, accounting, tax, and management consultancy combined with an inspiration to nurture talent and create a quality hub to cater for the ever increasing demands of their existing client portfolio and the wider business community in the region, including Iran and Tajikistan.

We welcome, ABG Consulting, our new member firm in Georgia, to the global accountancy network UHY, extending our coverage within the EMEA region.

ABG Consulting, with a team of 106 staff including two partners, is based the capital city of Tbilisi, and was established in 2009. The firm provides a full suite of services including audit, bookkeeping, taxation, insolvency, corporate finance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.

Managing partner, Teimuraz Barnabishvili of ABG Consulting comments: “We are based in an economy with a huge potential for future growth: Georgia is striving to become a go-to trade and logistics hub, especially with its impending membership of the EU.
