Allinial Global Announces Mark Koziel as Next President and CEO

Allinial Global, has been preparing for a leadership transition and the upcoming retirement of President and CEO Terry Snyder.

After an in-depth review that narrowed a field of over 100 qualified candidates, the Executive Search Committee is pleased to announce that Mark Koziel has been selected as Terry Snyder’s successor. Mark will begin his responsibilities as the next President and CEO of Allinial Global on August 1, 2020. Well known and highly regarded within the profession, Mark has appeared among the top 10 of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People and in the International Accounting Bulletin’s Global Accounting Power 50 List.

His industry knowledge, commitment to bettering the profession, and continued advocacy for CPA firms will serve Allinial Global well as the association builds on its current momentum. Mark is completing his tenure as the AICPA’s Executive Vice President of Firm Services this summer. “The last 14 years at the AICPA have prepared me for this journey, and I look forward to working with the members of Allinial Global. I thank Terry Snyder for his leadership over the past 12 years—it is an honor to carry that leadership forward,” Mark says.

In the meantime, Terry Snyder will continue in his role as President and CEO until August 1, when he will shift to a consulting capacity to provide support during the initial transition. Terry’s dedicated service and visionary leadership have been invaluable to Allinial Global, and the association is grateful to have his assistance as it looks toward the future.
