MHA MacIntyre Hudson replaces Deloitte as Ferrexpo auditor

Ferrexpo has approved the appointment of MHA MacIntyre Hudson, the UK member of Baker Tilly International, as the company's auditor for the current financial year with immediate effect. The firm takes over in the wake of Deloitte’s resignation as the firm’s auditor in April following the discovery of discrepancies in Ferrexpo’s accounts in February.

That, in turn, was followed by the appointment of former EY partner Graeme Dacomb as an independent non-executive director chairing the Audit Committee.

Although MHA MacIntyre Hudson will audit the current year, the group’s unaudited half year results will be published on 2 August 2019 and due to the timing of the appointment will not be subject to review by MHA MacIntyre Hudson.
