Inter American profession launches Inter American Forum of Firms

The Interamerican Accounting Association has approved and launched the constitution of the Inter American Forum of Firms (IAFoF).

IAFoF will work to promote the adoption and implementation of high quality standards in the audit and assurance practices in the region, through the application of the International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

IAFoF will be managed by a board of directors, which first chairman will be Santa Fe Associates chairman Alfredo Spilzinger and its first vice-president will be Santa Fe Associates Bolivia managing partner Felix Francisco Pinto Rojas.

Both Spilzinger and Pinto Rojas appointments are effective as of 27 March 2015.
