IAPA elects new global chairman and vice-chairman

by Federica Tedeschi

IAPA has elected Martin Clapson as new global chairman.

Clapson has filled a vacant position after previous chairman Jan Huygens left the association to join Allinial Global.

Clapson has already been at the helm of the association for 10 months, while John Campbell, also elected unanimously during the 2017 international AGM as vice-chairman, was already serving as IAPA treasurer. Both terms will be held for a year.

Clapson and Campbell have a task on their hands as after the merger with Allinial Global fell through, IAPA's larger firms have jumped ship to Allinial Global.

The association is still to appoint a permanent CEO.
