Grant Thornton Hong Kong appoints chief executive

Patrick Rozario has succeeded Jonathan Leong as chief executive of Grant Thornton Hong Kong.

Leong will hand over the operational reins of the firm to focus on his new role as chair of the firm’s risk management committee, with particular focus on regulation.

Rozario, who has more than 20 years experience in the commercial sector and is a certified information system auditor, previously headed the mid-tier firm’s business risk services division.

Grant Thornton has also appointed seven new principles in its assurance, corporate finance, tax and restructuring, investigation and insolvency sectors.

The newly appointed principles are Michael Cheung, Joanne Hung, Simon Lee and Elisa Yu, Barry Tong, Winnie Tsui and Anita Hou.
