CABA launches online counselling and well-being support service

In advance of World Mental Health Day, CABA has launched Qwell –– an online counselling and wellbeing support service.

Qwell offers free online counselling and wellbeing, all as part of CABA’s free services to support the mental health of the chartered accountant community. Safe and confidential 1-hour chat sessions with a qualified counsellor are available via instant messaging 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with peer support and informative articles available online too.

CABA support manager Mary-Jane Gunn said: “We know 2020 has been a difficult year, with rising anxiety and more support required for mental health concerns, and at times like this we all need a bit more support. Our new online service gives accountants and their families a support tool for when things are becoming too much. Be it anxiety over the worrying winter ahead, feelings of low mood that you’re stuck in a job you don’t love or depression that your career prospects are not as you hoped. Qwell is now available to those who need a little help.”
